It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mother Willie Maude Lumpkin. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Central Union Missionary Baptist Church, located at 501 Preston Street, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030. Rev. Anthony J. Thomas, II is the Pastor. The Rev. Dr. Rev. K. Daniel Dawsey, Pastor Emeritus will serve as the Eulogist. Burial will follow Magnolia Park South Cemetery, 605 SR 96, Bonaire, Georgia 31088.
Mrs. Lumpkin was the Mother of the Central Union Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Valley, Georgia.
Mrs. Lumpkin leaves behind to cherish her loving memories: six children, Jerry (Celia) Smith, Leonard (Sandra) Smith, Johnnie (Marya) Smith, Donna Chatfield, Maureen (Albert) Holliday, Christine (Erwin) Oliver, two bonus children, Christopher (Prapa Lumpkin) Glashaus and Edna (Monte) Williams, and adopted daughter, Josephine Burke, a brother, Charlie Davis, and a host of grandchildren, great grand-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home, located at 4000 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
