Samuel Jones

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Samuel Jones.  A private burial was held on Jan. 13, 2025.  A private Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2025 with family. Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his loving memories: a devoted wife, Miranda Jones, sister, Gilma Caines (Cleo), son, Sherwin Jones, step-sons, Lionel Farrington, Jr., (Linda) and James Pemberton (Sandy), step-daughters, Parmis Johnson (Roderick) and Paula Crawford. Grandchildren, Princess Farrington, Lionel Farrington III, Marcus Farrington, Quintin Crawford, Raseem Crawford, Jada Pemberton, Ashley Pemberton, and Alec Pemberton. Many loving family and friends from Trinidad & Tobago and St. Croix U.S.V.I.

Sam retired from the Government of the Virgin Islands and resided in Macon, Georgia. Sam was a Cartoonist for the Avis Newspaper for many years and wrote and published a book called "Melee Medley ". Sam loved music and played the steel pan for the Caribbean Dance Company as they traveled the world sharing our Caribbean Culture. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 2550 Shurling Drive, Macon, Georgia 31211 has charge of the arrangements.
