Robert Lee Gooden, Sr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert Lee Gooden, Sr.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Union Baptist Church, located at 1137 Kitchens Street, Macon, Georgia  31217.  The Reverend David Stanley is the pastor and will serve as the eulogist. Interment will follow on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2617 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, Georgia  31061. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Guyrone Gooden.  Mr. Gooden leaves to cherish his loving memories a devoted wife, Hattie Gooden, seven children, Phyllis (Albert) Brown, Norbert Gooden, Robert Gooden, Jr., Winfred Gooden, Demetrice Gooden, Gwendolyn (Kevin) Jennings, Brandon Gooden, and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home located at 2550 Shurling Drive, Macon, Georgia  31211. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
