It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Preston Bernard Mays, Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church located at 1180 Barlett Street, Macon, Georgia 31204.  Reverend Ronald G. Toney will officiate. Interment Services will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204. Mr. Mays leaves to cherish his loving memories, daughter, Camissia (Jesse Jr.) Gooden; son, Preston (Virginia) Mays Jr.; mother, Willie Mae Mays; siblings, Phyllis (Jackie Jr.), Darren Mays, Samantha (Bobbie Jr.) Jordan, Patrick Mays and a host of other family and friends. Public viewing will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located at 2550 Shurling Drive, Macon, Georgia 31211.  Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
