It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Nettie Ruth Harris. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at New Piney Grove Baptist located at 258 Straight Street, Macon, Georgia 31204. Dr. Antione Scruggs will serve as the Eulogist. Interment Services will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery located at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204.
Ms. Harris leaves to cherish her loving memories: five children, Carnethia Dunham-Vickers, Thomas Harris, Sheila Cook, Willie Jackson & Frederick Jackson; three siblings, Emily Victrum, Otis (Jellarn) Harris & Diane Evans; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.
