Minister Willie James Lawson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Minister Willie James Lawson.  A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00AM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church located at 1256 Chaney Road, Unadilla, GA. 31091.  Rev. Dr. Thaddaus Laidler will officiate and Pastor Arthur Hubbard will serve as the Eulogist.  He leaves to cherish his memories of 56 years his loving wife, Margaret Lawson; son, James Eric (Angela) Lawson; grandsons, Nicholas and Tyler Lawson; brother, Charlie (Edna Ruth) Lawson Sr.; sisters, Odessa Sheffield, Susie Henry, Viola Adams, Mae Dorothy (Pastor Franklin Sr.) Jordan, Mary Helen Bizzell and Virgie Talley; sister-in-laws, Beatrice Lawson, Rosa Lawson and Hattie Parrish; brother-in-laws, Pastor Cecil Parrish and Theodore Ray Cannie; godchildren, Rex Green and Janay Erving and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.  Public viewing will be held Friday, February 19, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home.  The family is requesting everyone to wear a face mask and follow CDC guidelines.  Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
