It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Mathis Chatfield, affectionately known as "Cowboy." A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at First Baptist Church, 210 Garmen Street, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. The Rev. Josh Kirvin is the Pastor. Bishop Timothy Boone, Sr. will Officiate and serve as the Eulogist. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park South Cemetery, 605 GA Highway 96, Bonaire, Georgia 31005.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: a devoted wife, Donna Chatfield, three bonus children, Jantril Hinton, Kenneth Hampton, and Christina Hampton, three siblings, Diann (Jimmy) Smith, Rosalyn Simmons, and Johnny (Lisa) Chatfield, a caring mother-in-law, Willie Maude Lumpkin, three brothers-in-law, Jerry (Celia) Smith, Leonard (Sandra) Smith, Johnnie Smith, three sisters-in-law, Maureen (Albert) Holliday, Christine (Erwin) Oliver, and Annie Ruth Smith, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home located at, 4000 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
