Mary Frances Hicks

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Mary Frances Hicks.  Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary of Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church, 1180 Bartlett Street, Macon, Georgia 31204.  The Rev. Ronald G. Toney, Pastor will Officiate and Deliver the Eulogy. Interment Services will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 7331 Bethel Church Road, Lizella, Georgia 31052.

Ms. Mary Frances Hicks, age 91, of Macon, Georgia, entered into eternal rest surrounded by love and peace, January 16, 2026.   Born in Lizella, Georgia, June 14, 1934, she was a devoted member of Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church for more than 70 years, faithfully serving in several ministries and uplifting others with her gentle spirit. Mary Frances was known for her warm heart, her love of family, and her quiet strength. She enjoyed simple pleasure such as completing word‑search puzzles, and reading the Sunday newspaper, and joyfully caring for those she loved.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Billy Hicks, Michael Hicks, and Cathy Hicks; and a devoted sister, Allie Rose Beach.  Her legacy of faith, kindness, and grace will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.   

Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00PM at Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home, located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.
