Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Martha "Madea" Davis. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at Smith Street Baptist Church located at 340 Reid Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Pastor Willie L. Finney Jr. will serve as Eulogist. Ms. Davis "Madea" passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Jean Freeman and Shirley (Ricky) Newson; three sisters, Lizzie Newsome, Ezella Newsome and Grace Newsome; two brothers, Zollie (Clara) Harris and Eugene (Gwen) Castlin; seven grandchildren, Vanessa (Dewayne) Dudley, Angela Davis, Tiffany Newson, Alondra Newson, Taurus (Lenora) Newson, Lawrence (Cheryl) Freeman and Marcus Newson and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
