Louise E. (Ruff) Hudson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Louise E. Ruff Hudson. The co-founder of Macon’s famed H&H restaurant, Mrs. Louise E. Ruff Hudson, better known as “Mama Louise” to generations of soul-food devotees and connoisseurs of Southern rock, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November, 08, 2022 in Macon, Goergia. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 12:00PM at Macedonia Church located at 600 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, Georgia 31206.  Reverend James L. Bumpus will officiate. Reverend N. Vincent Carter will serve as the eulogist. Interment Services will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery located at 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204. Mrs. Hudson leaves to cherish her memories, three loving children, Lucy Hudson O'Neal, Monroe Hudson and Valda Hudson and a host of other relatives and friends. A Wake Service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
