Lonnie Joe Morris, Sr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Lonnie Morris, Sr.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00PM at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1220 Rev J.L. Mills Sr. Way, Macon, Georgia  31201. Interment Services will follow at Cherry Blossom Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located at 2700 Midway Road, Macon, Georgia  31052 where the Rev. Dr. Stephen Summerow serves as Pastor.  The Rev. Dr. Walter E. Glover, Moderator will serve as the Eulogist.

Mr. Morris leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Sylvia D. Morris, three children, Felicia Morris, Lonnie Joe Morris, Jr., and David Morris, two siblings, Laverne (Joseph) Parker-Morris and Carzell (Charlet) Morris, and a host of other relatives, and friends.  Public viewing will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
