It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lillian Cornelius Fort. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11:00AM at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church located at 996 Oglethorpe Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Reverend Timothy W. Price, Sr. will serve as the Eulogist. Interment Services will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens located at 3225 Joycliff Road, Macon, Georgia 31211. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Fort, Sr.; sons, Charles E. Cornelius and Kenneth O'neal Fort. Mrs. Lillian’s memories will be forever cherished by her children, Janice Y. (Noah) Riggins, Beverly E. Hudson, and Herbert E. Fort, Jr.; raised like a son, Adrian (Princess) Fort; six grandchildren, Charles E. Cornelius, Jr. “Chucky”, Victoria E. Hudson, Tiya Y. Riggins, Anna C. (Patrick) Martin, Andrea (Donte') Douglas and Keenan F. (Jelissa) Riggins; eight great grandchildren, Jayden Coleman, Amaris Coleman, Cameryn Coleman, Noah Coleman, Princeton Douglas, Dallas Douglas, Emily Martin and Knox Riggins; brother, Willie (Bobbie) Cornelius, Jr.; sister, Mozell Binford; sister-in-law, Evelyn Fort; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other family members; and friends. Public viewing will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located at 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206. Richard R.
