Jacques Hunter

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jacques Hunter.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bethel CME Church, located at 1668 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204.  Rev. Lindsey Napier, Pastor.  The Rev. Dr. Andre C. Loyd, Jr. will serve as the Eulogist.  Interment will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens Cemetery, 3225 Joycliff Road, Macon, Georgia 31211.

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his father, James A. Hunter, and his brother, Gregory V. Hunter. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn J. Hunter; daughters, LaKeisha (Dustin) Nelson and Nichole (Mark) Richardson; mother, Estella K. Hunter; siblings, Michael (Adrienne) Hunter and Patricia Y. Hunter; Mother-in-law, Foustine Childs, five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing and Omega Service by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, between the hours of 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at
Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 Shurling Drive, Macon, Georgia 31211 has charge of the arrangements.
