It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Fred Taylor, III. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00AM at Greater Lizzieboro Baptist Church located at 1180 Fort Hill Street, Macon, Georgia 31217. Reverend Dr. Derek M. Dumas will serve as the Eulogist. Interment Services will follow at Union Bibb Cemetery located at 7181 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31220. Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.
Fred “PeeWee” Taylor was born on February 7, 1960, in Macon, Georgia. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Fred received his education in the Bibb County Public School system. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country. Over the years, Fred worked as an HVAC technician and later became the Maintenance Supervisor for apartment complexes.
In 1981, Fred met Lucretia, the love of his life and long-time companion. Together, they had three children and adopted two. In 1996, under the leadership of Curtis Taylor Sr., Fred was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel. He was deeply devoted to his family and his faith.
Fred Taylor passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. He was preceded in death by father, Fred Taylor Jr., mother, Beatrice Taylor, and sister, Diane Taylor.
Fred leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, cherished by his devoted wife, Lucretia Taylor; children, Adrian (Jackie) Taylor, Candice (Tiffany) Taylor, Fred (Ebony) Taylor IV, Yusuf “Tank” Hassan, Timdra’ (Crystal) Rutledge Sr. ; brothers, Jerry (Pam) Taylor, Robert (Dominique) Taylor, Steve (LaTanga) Taylor, Bruce (April) Taylor, Michael (Glenda) Taylor, and Mark (Quadulynn) Taylor; grandchildren, Kamari, Dorian, Serenity, Timdra’ II, Timdra’ III, Timdra’ IV, and Aaliyah; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and devoted relatives and friends who will continue to honor his memory.
