It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Essie Mae Ridley  A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home, located at 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206. Reverend Willie Lee Finney, Jr. will Officiate and serve as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Cherry Blossom Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located at 2700 Midway Road, Lizella, Georgia  31052.

Ms. Ridley leaves to cherish her loving memories: three children, Iris Smith, Tiffany Colson and Demarcus (Dyamond) Colson; a beloved mother, Ida Mae Ridley, five siblings, Gloria Ridley, Mary Brown, Frances Causey, Vernice (Harold) Jarrell and Willie Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Eric Hollingshed, Jr., Johnathan Hawthorne, Jr., Na’Jia Royal, Zy’Kirra Royal, Zayden Colson, Morgan Cox, Adasyn Ussery, and Dylan Colson, and a host of other relatives and friends.  Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.   Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangement.
