It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Essie Mae Daye.   A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Greater New Bethel Baptist, 2407 Rocky Creek Road, Macon, Georgia 31206.  The Rev. Arthur L. Gordon, Sr., Pastor will Officiate and deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Georgia 31216.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: four children, Larry (Angela) Clark, Jr., Troy Clark, Kimberly Clark, and Latyacia (Jeremy, Sr.) Grimes, six grandchildren, Antaveyo Clark, Tavonta (Keiata) Finney, Tyler Rouse, Tiana Grimes, Jeremy Grimes, Jr., and Liam Grimes, three siblings, Hattie (Jerome) Collins, Clarence (Wanda) Johnson, and Bernice (Frank) Broadus, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends,
