It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deacon Samuel Chambliss Jr.  A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 179 Mt. Zion Baptist Church Road, Bolingbroke, Georgia 31004. Pastor Jonathan F. Lowder is the pastor and will officiate. Pastor Eric Scott will serve as the Eulogist. Interment Services will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery located at 179 Mt. Zion Baptist Church Road, Bolingbroke, Georgia 31004. Mr. Chambliss leaves to cherish his loving memories, a devoted sister, Deaconess Rose Mary (Deacon William) Scott; nephews and nieces, Pastor Eric D. (Tarnishia) Scott, Sonja Michelle Wimberly, Melissa Scott (Frederick) Lowe and Demetria Lynn Wimberly; great nephews and nieces, MarKeenan Scott, Quinesha Wimberly, Marlaina Miller and Frederick Lowe, Jr.; two god daughters, Dawn L. Grace and Yolanda Walker; one aunt, Florese Fambro Frazier and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Funeral Home located at 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206. Richard R Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.
