Alvesta ("Montford") Brown

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Alvesta Brown.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at New Piney Grove Baptist Church, located at 258 Straight Street, Macon, GA  31204.  The Reverend Antoine Scruggs, Pastor will officiate. The Reverend Dave A. Wilcoxson, Pastor Emeritus will serve as the Eulogist. Interment will be held at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University, Macon, Georgia  31024.

Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her loving memories: two daughters, Stefanie Brown and Nikki Washington, two sisters, Fannie Green and Rose McElroy, three sisters-in-law, Beatrice Montford, Gladys Montford, and Grovenia Parker-Graham, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home located 3275 Pio Nono Avenue, Macon, Georgia  31206.
